Subtitles on Films bought on Apple Tv Movies (previously iTunes)

Purchased the film Kill Bill Vol:2 and the non-english parts did not show the subtitles even though I know for a fact that the film had them. There was no visible option that I could find to bring them up besides the option of "Auto" (recommended) which didn't seem to do anything anyway.

Anyone know if and how this can be corrected? Or is this a fault with Apple Tv Movies for this specific film (and possibly others) which should be rectified (*hint APPLE)?

Having the same issue. Must be a distribution fault as English subtitles have been in all other versions.

The subtitles are also missing on Kill Bill Vol 1. A bit disappointed with Apple versions of these 2 films. While the picture quality is fantastic, the aspect ratio is incorrect. Both films should be 2.40:1 not 1.78:1. While KB was shot on Super 35, allowing for a compromised open matte framing, more picture info top and bottom, it’s not correct. It’s tolerable due to the stunning HD transfer but the missing subtitles are the second technical fault for these titles. My hope is that both the aspect ratio and the missing subtitles can be rectified in time.
