My 2020 M1 Mac is 3 days old. I'm seeing what looks like tiny speckles and/or bubbles like you'd see when a screen protector is on your phone on the screen.
Is this some protective film that comes on a new Mac these day?
If so, whats the best way to remove it?

I am not aware of any screen protectors being applied by Apple.
You best take a close look and, if necessary, contact Apple support. You have 14 days to return it no questions asked. And I would most likely use that if a very slightly damp cloth does not remove tham.
