iPhone 12 with IOS 14.2.1 WiFi connectivity issues

I have tried all the recommended fixes to date and my iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 14.2.1 still has WiFi connectivity problems. I am having to disable WiFi to connect to websites. Any new recommendations? Hopefully Apple will fix this issue shortly.

I contacted my ISP, i.e., Comcast/Xfinity and they sent me a different router. This router appears to solve my connectivity problem, as I am now able to connect my iPhone 12 Pro Max without having to manually configure the network on the phone. WiFi range and speed are not as good as with the previous router. Since I get similar speeds with other devices at the same place in my house, this appears to be a router issue not an issue with the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I have about 8 devices on my WiFi network and the iPhone 12 is the only device that is not able to automatically display IPV4 address information and subsequently connect to the internet. Part of the problem may still be with the Xfinity router, so they are sending me another router to try, but there is still perhaps an issue with the iPhone 12 running IOS 14.2.1 that Apple should investigate, as it appears that I am not the only person experiencing this issue.

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately after following the procedure of resetting network settings and then rebooting my router, still no success with WiFi connectivity on my iPhone 12 Pro Max. No problem with WiFi connectivity on my older iPhones, i.e., iPhone SE running IOS 13.2.3 or my iPhone Xr running IOS 14.2. Should I try downgrading from IOS 14.2.1 to IOS 14.2 on my iPhone 12 Pro Max?

Same problem with connectivity issues for over 5 months now. I was wondering why my cell usage was going over so much. Apple changed out my SIM card and also sent me to AT&T. The problem still exists. I’ve even tried installing a new modem and router in my home (which all of my other devices work fine on). Turning the iPhone 12 Pro on and off fixes the problem for about 10 minutes then loses connection after. Even as I’m on the phone with Apple’s tech support the connection is lost and they can’t figure it out. To top it off, the tech that I was speaking with says “it’s the first time they’ve heard of this problem”. So, I directed him to this thread so he could now be aware of this problem but he didn’t want to read it 🤔. I just wanted him to be aware of the problem so we can all get this fixed🤷🏻‍♂️, right? Frustrated!

I have read so many issues with Apple 12 iphone about Wifi connectivity. It is absolutely an Apple issue. They need to fix this and not give us all this mumbo jumbo about new routers, etc. Had technicians out from 9am unto 2320pm and now its worse. Read that you need to change back to 4G. Then what the heck did we purchase a 5G phone for? I'm really ready to return this.

Yeah this won’t work. Here’s what happens:

sitting on the couch you pick up your phone and try to pull up the webpage. You look up and see you’re connected to Wi-Fi but the status bar pulling up the website pauses about 25% along the way and won’t move. So then what those of us having this problem do, we turn off Wi-Fi and then let cellular data search the web. If we turn Wi-Fi back on then we can search the Internet using Wi-Fi. This is a problem on an iPad Pro MacBook Pro iMac another iPhone 12 Pro, I only have the problem on an iPhone 12 promax. It’s very frustrating and it’s not my home router system.
