12 Pro Max sound quality issues

Everything I watch or listen to has a subtle but unbearable artifact that’s sounds like compression loss or some kind of echo/reverb. Everything! I hear it on my wife’s identical phone too. It’s almost unusable because it is sharp and cutting. Anyone else having this issue?

Based on your post it appears you're having issues with distorted sound on your iPhone 12. We'll be happy to assist.

Are you able to restart the iPhone to see if that helps?

If so, are you running the latest version of iOS?

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Does this seem to occur with multiple apps? Do you experience this while on telephone calls?

Are all your apps updated in the App Store?

Can you test the issue after removing any accessories you may have installed?
