Using iCloud Notes on a Windows PC

Hello!

I use an iPhone, but I'm still a Windows PC user when it comes to my computer use.

I'm looking to make a switch to iCloud Notes as my main note-taking app. However, I find that the user experience is limited on my Windows PC. I can't seem to lock notes. Whereas, on my iPhone, I am able to lock notes. Am I missing something? Why can't I lock notes on my PC, but can lock them on my phone? I don't want to write notes in my PC and then have to lock them using my phone. I'll look to a different app if that's the unfortunate case.

Thanks!

iPhone X, iOS 14

Hello CbadHaas and welcome to Apple Support Communities. It appears you are having some difficulty using the Notes capability associated with iCloud on a Windows PC.

At this time, the Notes apps as available in iCloud and as available on an iPhone or other Apple device are not the same and locking is not supported on non-Apple devices.

If you would like to leave feedback for Apple about that, you can do so here: Feedback - iCloud - Apple Cheers.
