Email problems

I have Suddenlink as my internet provider. I can not send an email from my iMac computer. Has anyone had this problem?

Outgoing mail problem I recently updated my iMac to 10.14.5. Now I can't get an email to send. I've been on the phone with my provider (iPage.com) and have not been able to come up with a solution. They suggest that because the problem coincided with my update that it might be my Mac. Anyone else having any problems?

Email not sending I can receive but not send emails on my optusnet.com.au email. This only effects my iphone and imac devices (not windows). ISP has been no help at all. Any help appreciated.

the smtp server ports varies from mail provider to mail provider, that port needs to be allowed in your computers firewall, your wifi router and by your isp
