I can't send photo using airdrop from iMac to iPhone but can from iPhone to iMac

Trying to send files from iMac running Catalina 10.15.6 to an iPhone SE running iOS 14.2. I cannot send a photo from the iMac to iPhone (it doesn't recognize the phone. But I can send a photo from the iPhone to the same iMac? I have 65 GB available memory on the phone so plenty of space to receive files.

I have tried setting AirDrop up to recognize contacts only as well as everyone and it doesn't recognize the phone either way. Have powered both devices down and then back up as well.
