My phone is opening and not give me a notification for iMessages for one specific contact. It tends to seem like i’m blowing people off when in reality, something had occurred where my phone opened the message for me and didn’t give me a notification. This just started happening a few days ago. Any fixes?

Check that particular conversation to see if Hide Alerts is turned on. Go to the Conversation, tap on the (i) for Info after tapping on the contacts name and make sure that Hide Alerts is turned off.
