Need to restart iPhone x frozen but requires swipe to restart what to do

My iPhone froze up from touch nothing would happen so I tried to restart by doing normal shut down however it requires you to 'swipe to shut down' so I can't even shut it down bc touch screen is frozen/ not working what can I do to restart?
