Hello Madam/Sir,

I have just updated my MacBook today to macOS Big Sur 11.01. when I turned on my mac again, I found that some of my files in different folder are missing. Especially, they are words documents and pictures. I do need them. They are really important to me. And I am going to have final exams next week.

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon. Please, It is really important to me.

No They are not there. And it is really weird that in one folder that I just created in this month, the first 2 weeks all the files are still there, but the last two weeks folders they are empty. Also I found most of my folders are empty with words, pptx and picture files.

Check to see if they've moved to the iCloud Drive in the Finder Sidebar.
