No place to enter verification code when logging in

I have an 2nd generation ipad OS version 8.1.1 No place to enter verification code when logging in... is there a work around

On an older device, simply append the Verification Code to your Password.

For example, if your Password is PasswordABC - and the Verification Code is 123456 - you would enter PasswordABC123456
