iPad asking to confirm iCloud Password

iPad asking to confirm my iCloud Password because it has apparently been changed even though I have not changed it?

iPad Pro 10.5-inch, Wi-Fi, Cellular

How is it asking you? Is it through iOS's native window, or it it through some other way like through a web browser? did you receive it in an email?


Be very suspicious of it. If you received it via email, check the actual FROM email address by right-clicking it and seeing what the email is. If it is anything other than apple.com at the very end, it's probably a scammer trying to trick you into giving up your iCloud password.


If you feel your password might have been compromised, change your password by going to your iCloud account section on your iPad through the settings icon, and change your password there.
