Apple Pencil With Ipad Air 2
With the new IpadOs 14.2, can I use an apple pencil with the Ipad Air 2 now? Because in the update it says I can, but I want to make sure.

No version of the Apple Pencil works with ANY iPads made before late 2015 and the 2017 iPad 5th generation.
This is NOT a software problem, but a physical hardware one.
Older iPad models and the 2017, 5th gen iPad lack an internal screen hardware layer necessary for the registration of the presence of an Apple Pencil.
There are NO good alternatives that truly mimic the Apple Pencil, for older iPads any longer, either.
