I live internationally but travel to the US twice yearly. I need to retain my international number when in the US but to also have a US number for local calls. Do any phone carriers offer temporary eSIMs? If no, what other options are there to retain an international number and have a temporary US number as well.

That is a question you would need to pose to the US carriers. I know there are carriers that have Pay As You Go (PAYG), I'm just not sure they support the eSIM with that.

If you have an iPhone that supports eSIM them T-Mobile supports pre pay eSIM service.
