mail app, microsoft exchange, google contacts

before the update to 14.2.1, the mail app used my google contacts for the sender's display name (top figure). after the update, the mail app ignores my google contacts and shows the sender's display name (bottom figure). can this be undone? note: while i'm using Spark to illustrate the issue, it happens in all mail apps.

Contact app not working properly I updated to 15.3 and noticed that when I open Contacts, it automatically open to the last contact I viewed. I don't like this. When I open Contacts, I want to see my alphabetical listing. When I open an email, I want to see the Inbox of whatever address I'm using. Can I turn off this feature?

email contacts I would appreciate if someone could tell me where I can edit the drop-down contacts menu in apple mail? I'm talking about which email address suggestions appear when you start to type a name of a contact. I've done it in the past but have unfortunately forgotten where to access this list. This is specifically Apple based. Laptop and IOS. Thank you.
