iPhone Maps app "Collections" / "Guide" has disappeared

Since April 2020, I have been accumulating addresses, around 50 so far, into a Maps Collection, or "Guide" as it is now appears to be called in iOS 14.2. Today, I went to refer to the Collection/Guide and it is no longer there. All the places and addresses I had accumulated have disappeared. The only option is to create a new "Guide." All my work collecting these places... gone. I wasted all that effort.

...and I was this close to switching over completely to Apple Maps from Google Maps. :-( Looks like I will still have to rely on Google's "My Maps" service.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Apple Support Communities. We see that all of your Maps Collections/Guides have disappeared from your iPhone. We know you put a lot of time and effort toward collecting these addresses, and we're glad to help.

Check to see that you have enough storage on your iPhone to display these properly: How to check the storage on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

If you have ample storage, let's isolate a little more.

Do you have another device that uses the same Apple ID that you can see if the Guides show up on that device?
Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, and sign back in. Sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac - Apple Support

Note that if you have any music downloaded for offline listening, you will need to download that music to your iPhone again after signing back in.
