Change system administrator on Macbook

I have a new Macbook and my husband will take over my old Macbook where I am the system administrator. I would like to keep all of the software and files, but completely remove me and make him the user and owner. It is currently running High Sierra.

Add him as a new administrator user, log on to that new account, log out of your old user account, and then delete your old account.
