Numbers quit unexpectedly.

Every time I try and open one of my Numbers files, I get a "Problem Report for Numbers" that shows a white exclamation point in a yellow triangle and says "Numbers quit unexpectedly." This is followed by a lengthy code script. Does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.0

Is it only one of your files? If so, you might want to open Time Machine (if you don't have a backup system like Time Machine then now is the time to start!) and go back in time until you find a version that will open.

If you were saving the document in iCloud Drive then you could also try signing into iCloud in your browser, going to Numbers for iCloud and downloading the document from there.

If you are having trouble opening all Numbers documents then try restarting your Mac and, if that doesn't work, restarting your Mac in "safe" mode with the shift key held down, then restarting it again.
