Use webcam of the Philips monitor with MacBook Pro M1

There is no tick box option for Phillips monitor shown in the camera, I tried hundreds of way can't seem to get MacBook to access to the Phillips monitor built-in webcam I connected with.

How can I use continuity camera with my Mac studio when it isn't connected to a webcam to begin with? I connect my mac studio to a monitor that doesn't have a camera. So when using any video call related app the camera is immediately off. Zoom for example there is no option to "change camera". There is no camera connected to begin with so I have no drop down menu to select my iPhone in zoom or meets. It works with my macbook, but my macbook has a webcam. I want to use this continuity camera with my desktop because it doesn't have a webcam to begin with.

Using an external webcam with my MacBook Air I've attached an LG monitor/display to my MacBook Air and am wondering if I can now attach a small webcam to the top of the monitor -- will the MacBook Air accept it? I don't see anywhere in Settings for changing the camera. Thanks folks!

external monitor and webcam I was wondering if it is possible to use an external monitor's webcam instead of the macbook pro webcam when connected? if so, any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi,

As you said I think you can't use monitor's built-in webcam with your M1 MacBook Pro.

And how about a macbook pro 2018? The macbook does not detect the webcam of my Philips 326P1 monitor.
