Microsoft Teams "to re-enable the application the tab needs to be refreshed"

For some reason Microsoft Teams requires third party cookies to be enabled. So to fix this issue you have to change a setting in Safari Preferences -> Privacy. Uncheck the option next to "Prevent cross-site tracking". After doing this you will be able to load teams in Safari browser.

I wish there was a way to allow this for only certain websites but it appears it's an all or nothing setting.

You have to download the Microsoft Teams app. Then on the web browser it asks if you want to use app or browser to launch teams - use the app.

Exactly the same happens in Google Chrome (using "ungoogled chromium" somehow eases the pain a bit, available via GitHub or Homebrew as "eloston-chromium"). It seems that from time to time Microsoft wants to set a third-party cookie and goes into sulk mode when it isn't allowed to.

I also saw some reports of the same happening with Edge as well.

I have the app loaded. It's horrible. If I wanted to use it I would, but I just want to use the web app. It worked fine for the past few months...
