How do i stop following or delete following discussions in Apple Support ?

How do i stop or delete my subscriptions, stop following or delete discussions once followed in Apple Community Support ?

MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 11.0

If it appears you are subscribed to an entire forum, log in and look at the upper right corner of the top list:



If the "Follow" box is black and says "Following," click the box to turn it white.


If that does not stop the emails, Click on your user name in the upper left to launch your profiles. On the right side find "Edit Profiles and Preferences." Find this section in the resulting page and make your checkmarks match this:



That will allow you to still get the occasional important email when you level up, or someone awards you points.

Thank you Allan,

Your first suggestion to un-check the Follow / Following boxes did not work, your suggestion to un check the boxes in preferences appears to have been the solution. With your help, in the time it took to address this run away train, 8 more posts were added. Though my Apple Support In box or Subscriptions remains filled with what must be 1000's of accumulated messaging from what I believe was originally my asking or supporting 4-5 posts. Would love to be able to just Delete each account followed as a person might expect with the ease of Deleting an email. lol. Your a Scholar and Gentleman - Thank you
