Has anyone had an instance where the display on an iPhone 12 (12 Pro in my case) suddenly turns off? I have raise to wake turned off and auto lock is set to 1 minute. But several times while using it, I go to set it down and it's been mere seconds since I last touched the display and the display turns off and locks. For now I have changed the auto lock to two minutes, but I really don't think that is the issue.

Problem solved and as it turns out, it wasn't a problem at all, it was a setting. The feature called, "Back Tap" was turned on and set to have a double tap lock the phone. In the course of normal everyday handling I was actually locking the phone with inadvertent double taps as I held the phone. I've turned that feature off and all is well.

Thank you for the reply. I had restarted the phone on several occasions prior to making my original post. Additionally I always run the latest OS. Since my initial post I've changed the auto lock back to 1 minutes as the display was still turning off. In the past week it has only done it a few times, but one time was while I was holding and actively using it. While this does not prevent me from using the phone it is frustrating. I'll continue to monitor it and should the issue still remain after applying 14.3 which I believe is close to being released, I will contact support at that time.
