moving files to iCloud

not seeing "Apple ID" after going to "system preferences" when trying to move files into icloud

If you are using Mojave or earlier, go to Apple menu > iCloud.

Go to Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Apple ID. If you’re using macOS Mojave or earlier, you don’t need to click Apple ID.
