How to Deep Clean AirPods? - Ive tried everything

I bought some AirPods in July 2019, after about a month this black gunk started to appear ive looked everywhere on how to clean it and ive tried it all. From toothpicks to tooth brushes, from blueback to rubbing alcohol, everything. Ive attached a picture, does anyone have any ideas??? Thanks
