Changing Input issues in GarageBand (iOS)

Hi... I’m using GarageBand on my iPad (iOS) with an Audient iD14 and ribbon mic. When recording a track I set the input to an individual channel (ie 1) but each time I go to do another take it has automatically changed the channel input to 1 and 2 (which puts my mic on the left side of the stereo, and keeps it there, no matter what I have tried, later in the mix.

How do I keep the input channel from changing on its own?

I would like an option to turn this off entirely so that GarageBand is the only source for live listening. just recently i discovered that my voice could be heard in two places at once: iPad and while using GarageBand. if it went away while using garageband, this wouldn’t be such an issue. i tried turning it off but to no avail.

New track settings set to pan, how do I change this? When I create a new audio track to record vocals, the channel strip is set to pan to the right. How do I change this so that creating a new auto track sets the channel strip to a neutral position?

2 mics at the same time in garage band I have Wavo USB podcast mics and when I hook them both up and have each one as an input for the tracks it only records one input on both tracks. I have both tracks enabled to record, but they both record only one mic still.
