Go to Settings/Messages and turn on MMS. If you don’t see the MMS switch contact your carrier and ask them to provision MMS on your phone.

Ok. Data on WiFi off. Still won’t sent pic. Simple text is fine just no pictures or attachments
Go to Settings/Cellular. Verify that Cellular Data is On. Then go to Settings/Messages and verify that MMS Messaging is On.
If both are on call your carrier’s tech support.
Do you have cellular data turned on? Sending a picture to an Android device also requires cellular data be turned on. It cannot use wi-fi like iMessage.
Thanks Lawrence. I have everything turned on (MMS SMS WIFI) and still cannot send a picture to an android device only iPhone. But I can receive one from androids. Contacted Apple with no helpful results
My wife has the identical phone and the identical issue. I be been at this for several hrs over the period of a month so not much I haven’t tried. Even though I live in a major metropolis I don’t have 5G yet. Any thoughts?

5G requires a 5G service plan with most carriers. It costs more. And you need a 5G SIM. If you moved the SIM from your old phone it won’t get 5G.
Everything was purchased new just over a month ago so SIM card was new then as well on both phones. Late last evening, with everything on except WiFi, I was able to send a couple of pictures to two different android devices. I wonder if that occurred because of lighter signal use in my area at that time. I also noticed that I received an LTE signal instead of 4G or 5G. Again I suspect the carrier.
Is it one specific android device or all androids?
It is a problem with all android devices that I have tried. At least a half dozen
It works as it should with another iphone
Then the problem is with your carrier.
I tend to Agee with you. Suggestions?
Really good point.
Thanks I have the data turned and the WiFi. I’ll try turning the WiFi off thanks
You're welcome.
