I downloaded the Mojave installation app from the app store to create a USB installer drive for a colleague. This worked like a charm with the provided help document (thank you Apple!).
I then moved the now-obsolete 6GB file into the trash. No matter what I do now, the file is undeletable. Not even through the sudo -RM terminal command! What can I do?

Yes, I found it! You have to switch off SIP then deletion is no problem. I used this guide here to do it (https://lifehacker.com/how-to-fix-os-x-el-capitans-annoyances-1733836821). Hope this helps!
