My macbook pro 2012 stuck on loading bar and i followed the steps macos utiilities and went to disk utility after that into first aid and then nothing happens my macbook stuck on the loading bar when i restart it

how can i fix this? Someone told me the problem is hard software.

Are you able to boot into Recovery Mode (Command + R) or Internet Recovery Mode (Command + Option + R) to run Disk Utility First Aid? It wasn't clear if you were able to do this.


Have you tried booting into Safe Mode?


Try running the Apple Diagnostics.


Most likely you have a failing hard drive and/or a defective hard drive SATA cable. A failing hard drive can prevent you from booting to external media like Internet Recovery Mode, but a defective cable shouldn't affect external boot media).
