I have set Chrome to be my default browser in iOS. But there are times I want a Shortcut to open a link in Safari specifically. Chrome, Firefox and Edge have deeplinks that let me do this. I can’t find one for safari though. Is there a way?

That is not quite correct. There is absolutely a way to do that for many browsers including Chrome, Brave, Edge and Firefox.

However, it does appear that Apple forgot to add this to Safari when they allowed users to finally set a default browser. Whups.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you want to be able to manually select which apps to open links in. There is not currently a way to do that. You can submit feedback to let Apple know what features you would like to see here: Product Feedback.
