iphone12 pro bugs - screenshot captures and sending with messages

can NOT send screenshot using messages, never had trouble with iphone11 pro, I can save it to photos and send but not right after taking shot. Anyone else having this trouble? My son just bought 12 pro, same thing on his phone.
