import videos from downloads folder to PHOTOS
I have a large number (dozens) of videos in my downloads folder that I would like to import to PHOTOS and delete from downloads. What is the best way to do this?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15

Simply select File/Import within Photos and navigate to the downloads folder - since there are a large number of files you can sort by the Finder menu by file type and then just highlight the first item in the list, hold shift and select the last one and you'll be able to import them in one go . Make sure that within Preferences you have selected 'copy items to the photo library' otherwise it will just reference the files and not copy them.
Alternatively just drag and drop the files on to the Photo app, but make sure you have made the preference change mentioned above.

Assuming they are in a format that photos can use. Open photos go to the file menu, click import.
Then point it at the downloads folder, and select the ones you want to import. As long as (in preferences) you have "copy items to the photo library" checked, then they will be copied from downloads into your photos library.
Beat you this time Tony ;-)) !!
Sure is simple when you know how1 Thanks NCS
