Pages "normal" style

Pages when I select "normal" style on formatted text-- "bolds" the text (I don't want any formatting)

Try this:


(As there is a possibility of accidentally deleting your text while it is ALL selected, I would strongly suggest making a copy of the document before proceeding.)


Click anywhere in the text.

Press command-A to select all.

Press command-B to set all of the text to bold.

Press command-B again to remove the Bold setting.

(If all the text is bold at this point, press command-B once more to clear the setting.)

Click in the document, but outside the text to de-select it.
