On Snapchat I can’t turn off the shutter sound. My volume is all the way down and the side mute button is on mute. I have restarted my phone and everything and nothing works. I know it’s the phone and not Snapchat because I have logged into many accounts on Snapchat and they all have the shutter sound on. The sound is driving me and everyone else crazy when I take a picture.

Yup, that model is for the Japanese market. There is no way to overcome the camera shutter sound restriction.
If you own an iPhone built for the Japan and Macau markets, the camera shutter sound cannot be muted.
What is the model number at: Settings - General - About - Model = ???
