Find My

If I only want to share my location with members of my Family Sharing group (and be able to find my iPhone if ever lost), what settings do I select? I do not want to share my location with any friends or contacts.

iPhone XS, iOS 14

Hi ravenium,

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help using Find My. It sounds like you want to share your location with family but not friends and contacts.

This article shows you how to share your location with family: Share your location with your family. You always have control over who you are sharing your location with and the amount of time.

To use Find My iPhone, be sure it's switched on in Settings > Your Name > Find My. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen

Have a fantastic day!
