My Ear speaker doesnt work

My ear speaker doesnt work at all. whenever i get a phone call or try to make one i have to put my phone on speaker. If i try to switch back to ear speaker mid call i still hear nothing. ive tried the steps to clean speaker etc based on the article and still nothing works. phone never fell or had any liquid contact. IS THERE ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING ELSE I CAN TRY BEFORE HAVING SPEAKER REPLACED?
