Problem: Paired new Apple Watch Series 6 to iPhone 11. iPhone no longer provides an audible prompt for phone calls or messages when locked. Verified by turning off bluetooth on both devices. iPhone functions normally. Goal: iPhone to retain full functionality with watch paired. Any solutions out there?

Your iPhone should ring when a call comes in even if your watch is unlocked.
As to texts, emails and other notifications it will only sound on the watch if it is unlocked and not the phone, this is by design.
