Airplay to Apple TV not working

I've spent two hours (plus hours on my own) with three different Apple Care techs and my AirPlay to Apple TV from iMac still isn't working. Once we disconnected power from all devices including Fios WiFi unit for five minutes. It worked, but not the next time and not since. Screen mirroring also stopped working.

iMac 27″, OS X 10.11

Unfortunately this clearly indicates an issue with your network at home. We can offer some basic suggestions but you need to troubleshoot your network yourself.
