iPhone trade-in timing

I signed up to trade-in my 11 pro. I received my return packaging but not my new phone. I need my phone. The time limit on returning is 14 days. I will not get my ne phone until over 14 days. So my return will be late. Is there anything I need to do to secure my trade-in?
