Change font size in fillable pdf

I don't have a question; I have an answer. I saw a Q & A chain on this but couldn't upload my answer. The way I found to do it is to type the words you want to fill into the fillable pdf space on a blank document in pages and then copy and paste it into the box. (I was working on the fillable pdf in Preview.) This worked for me. The form did not auto-correct to a different (miniscule) font. Hope this works for you too.
