Macbook Pro 15" Late 2018

I have the above laptop and the screen has stopped working. I have attached a photo. If I hook up to a second computer and share screens, the computer itself is working fine. Any ideas?

MacBook Pro screen not working Hello everyone. I am coming to you today with a massive computer problem. The screen on my laptop has utterly stopped functioning as intended. I found this out the hard way when I went to get cited help with repairing my BootCamp partition, only to find out, absolutely nothing useful with showing up on the screen. It shows a purple bar at the top and nothing else, no matter what Mr. Computer may be doing. I have a picture so you can see exactly what’s happening. MacBook Air screen issue Seems that this MacBook Air had an issue with the screen that doesn't seem to be happening now that I've restored it to its original. We are giving it to a granddaughter. Does that happen or could we have problems going forward? We did change the power cord. Not sure if that had anything to do with it! [Re-Titled by Moderator]
