MacBook Air screen issue

Seems that this MacBook Air had an issue with the screen that doesn't seem to be happening now that I've restored it to its original. We are giving it to a granddaughter. Does that happen or could we have problems going forward? We did change the power cord. Not sure if that had anything to do with it!
