Exchange emails not syncing on Iphone 12

Did the standard Settings>accounts>add Account > MS exchange>entered emails/password/ domain - returned as ok.

The same steps works on my old iphone and on my Ipad.

tested with Gmail- that added correctly .

Did anyone else face this issue?

Problem syncing iOS 13.3 mail with Microsoft online exchange Everything was working fine until a week or so ago (perhaps last IOS update). New eMails are added to my inbox on my iPhone just fine, but if I read or delete a message on my laptop / webmail / whatever and update exchange, those updates do not appear on my iPhone - every eMail still shows as new and unread until dealt with locally on the iPhone.

Is this an on Prem Exchange, or Office 365? Does your org require the Intune Company Portal in order to be able to access Exchange?
