I cannot get Logic Pro 9 to work on my new MacBook Pro 13' M1

I have purchased on the App Store and just transferring it downloaded from the cloud but refuses to load. Is this the case with this version?

Upgrading to Logic 10.5.1 on a Mac pro early 2009 (w/ High Sierra 10.13.6) Hello, I'm using a very stable Mac pro early 2009 w/ high sierra 10.13.6 (thanks to dosdude patching). Logic 10.4.8 is running smoothly on the Mac Pro. I consider updating to logic 10.5.1 via the Apps store, which is proposing me the upgrade. Does anyone with the same harware and system had issue with this quite old configuration? Do you think I can upgrade smoothly? (I never had to use time machine before, I'd like to avoid this situation). Thanks for your time. cheers.

Are you serious?

Logic Pro 9 was replaced in 2013 by Logic Pro X. LP9 is not compatible with all recent macOS versions. On the M1 architecture and Big Sur, forget it.

Are you sure that you purchased Logic Pro 9 on the App Store?
