How do I Backup music I ripped from CD’s

i have a large collection of music CD’s that took many days if not a week to rip onto my PC, so I could upload all the music I own onto my iPhone. The problem I am having now is my PC is no longer being supported due to it being antiquated. Is there a way I can backup or transfer all that music I ripped onto my existing iPhone and backup onto the iCloud, so I can safe the music and later download onto a new iPhone?
