iCloud Drive in Finder not showing all folders.

Many folders that used to show in finder under iCloud Drive no longer show. On the web, I see them fine.

An answer exists from previous sessions, but replies indicated many are having this problem. I'm on a new Mac running OS 10.15.7.

This is a FUNDAMENTAL problem. It needs a fix!

iCloud Drive greyed-out folders and files I am trying to rationalize the iCloud drive folder on my Mac. It has a large number of greyed-out items (folders and files) many of which relate to apps I no longer use. They cannot be deleted or corralled into a folder, and they do not appear in my iCloud Drive as accessed via a browser. How can I get rid of this unhelpful and largely historical clutter on my Mac? This topic has been raised several time in the past but no satisfactory solution has been proposed. Chris ________________________

Why doesn't my MacBook Air show my files on iCloud Drive? Hi, In the Finder on my MacBook Air, I do not see any files when I click on iCloud Drive. Yet, when I open icloud.com in the browser, I see all the maps and files I have stored there. Also, on my iMac I see them all. Does someone know what is going on there, and how to repair this? Thanks a lot!

Some applications will show, or hide their folders in iCloud Drive, based on whether or not they are selected in System Preferences : iCloud : iCloud Drive : options… panel.

It sure does need a fix ,all I can say is I've seen enough that I would not trust iCloud Drive with my stuff. :(
