Big Sur - Control Center no longer works

Control Center needs updating after upgrading to Big Sur on IMac. I use it to scan. The printer is working. I have updated the drivers on both printer and scanner. But the scanner won't work. Anyone know how to do this?

Control Center is a Brother app and is no longer supported. If you provide the model name/number of your printer scanner I could be of more help, but in the absence of that, in most cases the newer Brother iPrint&Scan app works on newer Mac OS and is very good (more features than the older Control Center had. Download it from Brother at: https://help.brother-usa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/150551/~/download-and-install-brother-iprint%26scan---windows-or-macintosh-computer

I have downloaded the drivers for printer/scanner. What I had always used to make scanning simpler was the Control Center. Apple indicates that it needs to be updated, but I really can't figure out how or where to get the update. I'm not sure if it's just an App or something else inasmuch as it came with the iMac. I think it has something to do with Big Sur perhaps requires 64-byte and the older version of Control Center is not.

I'll look for VueScan and see if that would make life easier.

Update: I downloaded VueScan. BUT I am a bit upset that I'd have to pay for a driver when normally it would be free from the printer company. I'll check with Brother to see if there's anything newer coming out. But thank you for your advice. I'll keep it in mind in case Brother hasn't updated.

Brother iPrint&Scan works well!! Certainly a little clunkier to pull out the phone instead of just working from desktop, but hey... a solution! Thanks FoxFifth.

Brother iPrint&Scan can be installed on Mac desktops and laptops. I use it on my MacBook Pro. It is available from Apple menu > App Store.
