Photo Memories: can I change the speed of the photo transitions?

I’m glad to have the Memories feature of Photos, but the speed of displaying each photo is often much too fast, so each photo displays only for a few seconds. I see how to change the duration of the entire Memory, but I don’t see how to change the speed of transition as you can with a slideshow. Any help?
