Screen mirroring is not working for me

I can not get my MacBook Pro to screen mirror with my iPad Pro.

Problem with screen mirroring I have problems with screen mirroring. Does anyone know if the problem is that my MacBook is too old, and that is why it's not working? So I am trying to screen mirror between my iMac which has macOS Monterey version 12.6 and my MacBook which has macOS Big Sur version 11.7. I have just uptated both and restarted them. Both are in the same wi-fi network and bluetooth on. My MacBook has the screen mirroring option but I just can't mirror the screen between these two. I was able to use my iPad to mirror with my iMac. Is the problem just that my macbook is a lot older than my imac and that's why it's not possible, or what might be the problem?

Screen Mirroring Hi all, I notice that screen mirroring can be slow compared to a wired connection. Is there a way to make mirroring to another screen faster? I am interested in knowing if there is an adapter that can be connected to my Mac Mini to make mirroring to another monitor (i.e LCD tv) quicker? Does an adapter exist? Thanks!
