New apple watch series 5 unresponsive

Hi!

I just got brand new Apple Watch S5 last night and since then I tried every advice I could find online to turn it on but unfortunately nothing worked.

I tried charging it first, force reset, hard reset, hard reset while on charger...

I am so sad, because I got it as a gift and since I don’t live in the USA I cannot take it to the nearest Apple Store (here in Bosnia there is no authorized Apple Store to take care of it).

I cannot believe it was just money down the drain, so is there anything that could be done?
