my phone came with a SIM card but I swapped it out for the one in my old phone (Verizon). The SIM card that came with the new phone had a red check mark on it. That's a Verizon symbol - should I have left it in the new phone?

New iPhone SE came with a SIM card - but I swapped it out for the one in my old iPhone 6s. Verizon is the carrier. On second thought the SIM card in the new phone had a red check mark on it. . . that's a Verizon symbol. Should I have left it in the new phone? I am going to trade in the old phone but want to make sure I have done the correct thing.

The SIMs are both from Verizon? Likely the old one will continue to work on your account without problems. It is probably best to give Verizon a call, Customer Service should be able to give best advice.
